The Safe Cig electronic cigarette offers ease of use similar to the Green Smoke e-cigarette system, however it is still not as simple as the Green Smoke system. The Safe Cig starter pack is an unassuming little package that I found really packs quite a punch. I have reviewed quite a few of these starter packs from various different companies. What you get with Safe Cig as I have found is a no frills, no fuss, package that actually contains a very competitive product. You get all the usual for your money, a charger, 2 batteries, 5 refills but at 90 bucks for all this you are getting it for considerably less than the Green Smoke package. Green Smoke is probably the best company to compare Safe Cig to as they are roughly the same in appearance and construction (this is also a two piece model). I found the Safe Cig electronic cigarette to be slightly more robust in construction and slightly longer lasting. This is due to the fact that in the connection between the battery and the refill cartridge the male part of the connection is on the cartridge on this model of e-cig, meaning that the cartridge can hold slightly more juice than the competition. There are pricier packages also available: for instance for just shy of 140 dollars you get all I outlined before with the addition of a carry case, an extra battery, and an in-car charger, that is definitely huge value for money when you consider what you get elsewhere. As far as functionality is concerned this product is quite exceptional. I had no problems with it whatsoever throughout testing. I should add that as thorough as there reviews are you really do have to live with a product for a while before you start discovering the niggles so I will be interested to read the reviews to follow and what other people made of the Safe Cig electronic cigarette. I for one, was impressed. Smooth draw, nice nicotine hit, long lasting cartridges, good batteries and affordable price. Can’t really say fairer than that can you?
Okay having now lived with this product for several weeks I am in a position to add the proper electronic cigarette review that Marc is looking forward to hear. It is true, a review to be complete has to see what a product is like to live with, not just use over a weekend or so for review purposes. I’ve been using the Safe Cig electronic cigarette now for in excess of three weeks and would like to share my experiences with you. Firstly the package arrived in a week and a few days so kudos to Safe Cig customer service for getting the product to me sooner rather than later. The Safe Cig two piece construction is a breeze to set up, and if memory serves me correctly one one already assembled in the box and just needed some charging. I charged the electronic cigarette as per the instructions and then embarked on my first foray into the world of electronic cigarettes. Right off the bat I was impressed with the smoothness of the draw and how quick the electronic cigarette responds to the sensed airflow and quickly vaporizes a hit of nicotine for you. The nicotine hit is strong and the taste is authentic, the throat hit was extremely impressive and I wasn’t expecting that. My first impressions were indeed very positive and these impression persisted for the first week or so until by the second week I noticed that the battery was running out quite a bit sooner than it had done during the first week of use. I called Safe Cig customer service and they told me to monitor the battery, that if it died on me they would replace it. I did just that but am happy to report that the battery seems to have stabilized and now lasts the same amount of time, albeit slightly less than it did to begin with. At no point was I worried because Safe Cig as a company seem to stand behind their product offering a 30 day money back guarantee and a lifetime warranty. Something many other e-cig manufacturers wouldn’t dream of doing. So yeah, three weeks in and I’m still very happy with this product. It is reliable, consistent and does the job it is meant to do. It has helped me reduce my smoking down almost to zero and I’m already feeling the benefits. Great product and great service. Give Safe Cig a serious look.
I agree with the other reviewers so far about how reliable and affordable this product is. I have owned mine for a couple of months now and have also place a couple of orders for refills. Service is just as good on repeat orders as it was when first purchasing the starter pack and that is also a quite encouraging fact. Beyond this I would like to draw attention to something many other reviewers seem to have missed out on, Safe Cig electronic cigarettes are only available in a choice of three flavours. Classic tobacco that is said to be comparable to Camel or Parliament cigarettes, Menthol which is like Marlboro Menthol or Newport and finally Marl, that is very similar to the Marlboro blend of cigarettes. I have tried all three and they are very impressive flavors that I can recommend highly. The reason I bring up the lack of variety in the flavors is that Safe Cig seem to be gearing their product to serious smokers who are serious of getting rid of the smoke, rather that marketing it as a silly lifestyle gimmick with fruity flavors that children will also be interested in no doubt. I commend this choice and it solidified my own choice to go with Safe Cig rather than anybody else. They are a serious company, serious about their product and serious in their commitment to their customers. Well done Safe Cig!
I bought this electronic cigarette on the strength of the reviews that other people had written about it. It is portrayed as a smokers e-cig, rather than a gimmick and the company also seems serious about keeping its customers and providing them with a quality product. So I jumped in and was very pleased with the result. My order arrived within a week and worked a treat. If you make a choice to not smoke and have this device on standby to aid you when the cravings get particularly hellish you’ll find that it really does work a treat. Even if you just use this in between smoking, when you are trying to cut down, you will still be impressed with the flavor, the draw and the nicotine hits it delivers but it will still be something of a taste you have to acquire. If you use it when you have gone quite a while without a cigarette and your will-power is starting to falter you will be seriously impressed with it. Trust me the first time I did this I had to look down just to make sure it was an electronic cigarette I was smoking. Obviously it isn’t a one for one smoke. Conventional cigarettes have a lot else going for them that makes them so difficult to quit, stuff that an electronic cigarette cannot hope to emulate. The point however is that the electronic cigarette, especially the one offered by Safe Cig, ticks just enough of the right boxes to make it a viable weaner-offer (if there is a word like that!). Anyway I am another Safe Cig satisfied customer and proud to say it loud.
Safe Cig have been good to me so far, I have to admit. My experience wasn’t as smooth and uneventful as many other people’s, which is the story of my life in general, but Safe Cig customer support stood by their promises and made sure we resolved all the issues I was having. My issues came in the form of a pair of faulty batteries that slowly but surely died, giving me a little less per charge beach and every time I charged them up. The process took several weeks but sure enough they did eventually die. Safe Cig were great, they quickly replace both batteries for me in just over a week and after this I haven’t had any other problems, other than needing to order refills and find where my Safe Cig electronic cigarette is because my house mate keeps stealing it and lying about it! I’m going to have to get her one as well for her birthday!
Have to agree with all the other people on here. Safe Cig do provide a strong package. It is affordable, reliable, durable and comes with a guarantee hard to find anywhere else in the industry. Ive been using this now for several months and have found it to be a nearly flawless product. My only gripe with these things is the fact that they look and feel a bit crappy. I suppose it’s too much to ask that they come lighter and sleeker and a bit more bespoke looking but for the money you are getting a great product. Financially a very convincing alternative to smoking regular cigarettes and if you do have any thoughts of quitting smoking then functionally they are also very convincing alternatives. Obviously a smoker who has no desire to quit won’t give these things a second look but like I say, if you are feeling that it might be time to think of your health and quit smoking this is as good an ally as you are likely to find anywhere else.
My one didn’t work. Came in the post soon enough, but refused to work. Both batteries just would not hold a charge and so I never got to find out, with that first order, what this product works like. I called customer service and after a lot of waiting around I was guaranteed a replacement for both batteries. These took another week and a few days to arrive. I charged them up and used my Safe Cig electronic cigarette for the first time. You probably think I was not and am not a happy customer just from my tone. I will say that I wasn’t. I did become a happy customer though the moment I first used my electronic cigarette and realized that this is exactly what I needed in order to help me quit. And quit I did. Thank you Safe Cig for the help and the great product, you have really helped me. So in short, these things are perfect, you may receive duds, but rest assured that Safe Cig will help you with whatever you need and when you do finally receive a working product you will be very pleased and it will have been well worth the wait.
My wife bought me the Safe Cig starter pack recently, probably due to the fact that I do a lot of talking about giving up smoking but not much action. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve mentioned a desire to quit. I also can’t tell you how many times I have tried to quit. It just seems that I can only muster a certain amount of momentum and then after that I end up making an excuse to start up again. It’s either a stressful time that gets me back on them again, which is an excuse and I know it but a convincing one nevertheless, or a night out with my friends where I think I’m over them, that smoking one or two won’t hurt, but then inevitably I get back on them within about a week. So anyway my wife took it upon herself to research the market for nicotine delivery systems and came across electronic cigarettes. Having read lots and lots of reviews online she decided that Safe Cig would be the one for me and purchased it for me. She always manages to get these sorts of things right and once again she came through. I honestly believe if we had received a lesser product in the post I would’ve just left it there. With Safe Cig though you get all the right things. The two piece construction makes this electronic cigarette simple and not at all fiddly. The cartridges are long lasting so you really feel you’re getting value for money and the batteries also work well and last long. It took me a few days to get used to it. The taste is interesting and a good substitute but obviously not the same as a real cigarette. But here’s the thing. Even if the taste and the way it works doesn’t immediately fool you. The nicotine DOES fool your system so the cravings go, giving you a chance to get used to how this thing works and tastes. I am happy to report that I haven’t had a smoke in two weeks and I don’t think I’m going to look back. A big thank you to my wife and to Safe Cig for a great product.
I have to rate Safe Cig’s service. The package arrived quickly and without any problems. The electronic cigarette worked fine, all the parts were accounted for and all worked fine as well. Which is much more than a lot of other customers can say as I’ve heard of some of the other nightmare situations they have had with other manufacturers of electronic cigarettes. So yeah, it got here fine, everything worked fine, but, and it’s a big one. I just couldn’t get used to using the product. This is in no way an indictment on the Safe Cig manufacturing process or whatever, I believe I would feel the same with any brand of electronic cigarette. The reason I’m posting this is because there may be other prospective customers out there with exactly the same issues as me. I’ve done a lot of thinking about this and I think I have narrowed in to why this product didn’t feel right for me. I’m sure you have read lots of people saying how electronic cigarettes will never be able to replace the feeling of smoking a real cigarette, try hard as they may, and that what they DO achieve very well is to handle the nicotine craving, the physical side of the addiction. That is exactly it, they do deliver nicotine in an exceptionally convincing way, but for people who are more psychologically addicted to cigarettes they can’t really offer anything. I put myself in this category, I don’t get bad tempered of shaky when not having smoked. Smoking is a psychological addition for me, it;s stupid but I find it sexy just like I did when I was a teenager or when you see a pinup smoking a cigarette. It is the actual act of smoking that I dig so a plastic vaporizer and big hits of nicotine is not going to do the trick for me. Anyway I can say that Safe Cig were great and refunded my money after I said I was not going to be keeping the product. This product will help you if you are a nicotine junkie but not if you are a habitual smoker who isn’t in it for the buzz.
Thanks to Safe-Cig I am now not a smoker anymore! Woohoo! Okay so I am now officially an electonic cigarette smoker, and I’m really not sure how I feel about this. They do look a bit silly don’t they? Regardless of what they have done for me I can’t help but feel a bit stupid when I’m sitting there puffing on a piece of plastic. Nevertheless if you do wan;t to get off cigarettes you will be very impressed with what this product will be able to do for you. Cravings are cut down in no time with this thing, leaving you with the time and space to put some distance between you and your last smoke. And it is a thing that snowballs, the longer you go without one, the better you feel, the less you want one, and even if you do want one you develop a will not to let yourself down and smoke a cigarette because you feel it will be ruining all the effort you have put in to get this far. That is how it worked for me at least and It has now been a couple of months since I smoked a cigarette. Great stuff from Safe Cig, no frills, no bells, no whistles, just a thoroughly researched, well put together product that can easily hold its own with anything else the electronic cigarette industry can throw up.
I would like to point out that these things, ie. Electronic cigarettes are not exactly healthy. Yes you have the benefit of no tar and no smoke containing dozens of toxins and carcinogens. But bear in mind that nicotine is also a harmful and addictive drug and these electronic cigarettes are basically nicotine delivery systems. Nicotine constricts your arteries and impedes blood flow. Also you are getting more nicotine, or rather have the possibility of getting far more nicotine from a fully charged electronic cigarette than you ever could by even chain smoking. Use these products with caution and try not to supplement one habit for another. Ideally you should be using electronic cigarettes to wean you off cigarettes and then quickly dispense with these as well. Do not get addicted to these, it is very easy to do this with vaporized nicotine.
For a mid priced electronic cigarette starter package I have to say that the one offered by Safe Cig is remarkably good. Actually not just for a mid level one. Compared to anything else I have tried the Safe Cig electronic cigarette holds its own. It has the advantage of having the masculine connector be on the refill cartridge so you get more nicotine solution per cartridge (nearly two packs of smokes by my estimation).It’s a simple two piece electronic cigarette, the batteries are quite long lasting and reliable. And the flavors are simple, no-nonsense tobacco flavors rather than stupid fruits flavors that has nothing to do with smoking tobacco. I used this for about six months and in that time I managed to quit smoking and the gradually wean myself off the nicotine that these things make you reliant on. I still have it with me for those particularly stressful moments and it always works a treat whenever I need it. That’s what this thing is, a little crutch for nicotine self medicators and it has been a very useful gadget that has paid for itself ten times over since I bought it. You don’t often get value for money like that.
