Smart Smoker Electronic Cigarettes

Smart Smoker has the least informative, and quite possibly the worst website for ordering you electronic cigarette smoking system online. It uses all of the media coverage and hype that the e cigarette industry as a whole has been getting, and presents it on its website like Smart Smoker was the only electronic cigarette company out there.

They offer a form there where you need to complete your personal details, before you can even get to see what the product will cost you, as well as what they are actually offering for sale. Due to these restrictions I decided not to try this website, as I felt it was a complete invasion of my privacy asking me for these details without giving me more details. There are other far better retailers out there with much more information on the company and the products on their website.

    Smart Smoker is another company that offer a free trial that ends up not being so free if you get the fine print wrong. You get the starter pack for free when you sign up for the limited trial and then if you don’t like the product you must return it in ten days to avoid being charged. Now if you choose to return it you will not be refunded for the $9.95 for shipping and handling and this does not take into account the cost of returning the product that you will obviously also have to pay. The product itself is actually quite a good one. The electronic cigarette from Smart Smoker is actually quite a good one. The package is quite clinical and professional, you get a ton of refills with it, the Deluxe starter gives you 36 in total, and generally this e-cig is a good all round product. The problem I have with it is the free trial has not worked for many people as many of the reviews online are testifying. Customers have been charged even though they returned, free trials have gone to wrong addresses and charges have been made for items not received, customer service has been difficult to get hold of etc. The list runs on. That is why I personally opted to purchase the kit outright and not mess around with having repoeat billings and so on. The same stands for their Smart Plan that charges you $59.99 per month to keep you in refills. I sounds good, it is reasonable when you factor in what a smoker of regular cigarettes ends up paying per month, but I don’t feel comfortable with it. I would much rather be billed for what I ordered and leave it at that. So my review of this product would be, good product shame about the service, the free trial and the repeat billing.

    Nit impressed one bit. Customer service is woeful, they charged me even though I returned it and then would not pick up the phone. It is ridiculous. I should’ve had my head examined for putting my credit card details in for a “Free Trial”. The product itself was not actually that bad, not as high end as the photos might lead you to believe but at least it worked. But now I’ve been relieved of my money and I don’t even have the product! I am furious with Smart Smoker and their lousy customer service. I have initiated a charge back with my credit card company and will take my business elsewhere. Even if you pay for the kit and don’t have to deal with the whole free trial billing rigmarole, do you really want to deal with a company that treats its customers in this way? No you do not, so take my advise and solve your electronic cigarette needs someplace else

    Absolute scam. I’ve been billed several times by this company for a plan I did not actually sign up for. The initial starter pack on free trial came quickly enough and worked well but all the problems started when I started being billed regularly each month for refills I had not consented to ordering and I did not even receive. This is a classic story of a good enough product ruined by hapless customer service agents at best or a scam operation at worst, I still haven’t been able to make up my mind and so I leave it up to other customers to post reviews here and for you to make up your own minds. Suffice to say I will be charging back and won’t be conducting any business with the company again. This is just not the way to do business and it is a shame because the product was actually quite good and came with a substantial amount of refills. I’ve sent it all back now and will be looking somewhere else for an electronic cigarette that not only works, but for a company that can also deliver on their promises. Bad show form Smart Smoker, very bad show.

    I’m still being billed for the Smart Plan from Smart Smoker even though I supposedly canceled that a couple of months ago! Customer service, when I can get hold of someone that is, always apologize, tell me my refunds have been initiated and the monthly charge canceled and then as sure as I’m sitting here typing this now, the next month I’ll see that damn charge again. I have now decided to take matters into my own hands and will get the money forcibly taken from them and put back on my credit card. I think I have been more than patient with this company and have reached a point where I cannot be patient any more. Mismanagement and bad customer service, that is what will inevitably take this company under, and good riddance I what I say. Enough is enough. When are we going to find a company of e-cigs that actually seems to know what it is doing? Smart Smoker, you are lamer than lame.
